Default A Nuremberg Wheel-lock Hunting Rifle, ca. 1610-20, in As New Condition !!!

Sold 26 May 2009 by Probus Auctions, Stockholm, for the ridiculous price of ca. 4,800 euro.

Note the perfectly uniform patina and the radiant original 400 year old blueing beneath the file marks!

Folks, that's just what early 17th century guns looked like when first issued.

Forget all them poor scrubbed down to almost nothing relics - and preserve any old surface for as long as a piece is in your hands!

It's been handed down and left to your responsibility for that certain span of time. It belonged to others before and will belong to others afterwards.

Remember: you can always take something off an old surface but you can never really add to it. Guess it was Merrill Lindsay who wrote that.

Now enjoy the perfect glare of the colors.

Best,
Michael
