Thumbs up

Looks like a wayang style hilt .
The unsophisticated rendering I find quite charming .

Personally, I like the blade; needs a stain .

I'm not sure if the pendok repousse work is quite in the same vein as that on the hilt .

I also quite like this little wayang guy on the hilt. I wonder if it's possible to straighten out his smashed in snout without doing worse damage.
I also agree with Rick that the pendok is done in a different style from the hilt, but i think they work well with each other anyway.
Blade seems to have some significant age.

Hello,
nice keris. Pendok is in my opinion not original to this keris, look how it fits at the wrangka. When it's my keris I will look for a better fitting pendok by time.
Handle I will let like it is.

The pendok is indeed not original to the wrangka.
And pendok and Ukiran are definately different styles.
But it is a very nice pendok.

Hello Royston,

I have to admit that I'm not that fond of this ukiran. I'd be interested to hear other's opinions on its age though.

The mendak looks very crude and possibly recent. If nothing else, I'd be tempted to replace it. Just my 2 cents.

Regards,
Kai
