 I totally missed the absence of langet Teodor!! Thanks. The M1796 British most definitely had them. Back to the books. Fernando, still curious about the Portuguese 1806 form. I recall some years ago a paper was written discussing how widely copied these stirrup hilt cavalry sabres were, and it would be interesting to learn more on that. |
