Sword for identification
I was just wondering what does this sword resemble?
Where does the design originated. Any ideas? |

Judging by the picture, it looks almost theatrical to me.
Is the blade "real"? The handguard looks flimsy; is it? Smooth handle would not be good for fighting in a hot/humid climate. Scabbard... New? I think better pics are needed to get some idea what we are talking about. |

The ensemble was made around 1969. Scabbard... 1969. Sorry, this is the only picture that I have. Locally, it's called, "Buaya Berenang", which literally means, a swimming croc. Last edited by Alam Shah; 10th May 2008 at 04:56 AM. |
