Stuart,

Thanks for your comments This sword above, the metal fittings of the handle is pretty thin...the metal bands on scabbard are crudely cut compared to the other piece....and the wood surface of the scabbard is rough and the filgree pattern near the hilt of the blade is crude in comparison to the other piece I picked up from rsword http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=6350

I will say though with this one the blade is nice though
