What a feast. I just do not understand why the East African warriors with thier huge spears are not seen in the same light as classical warriors. My kind of day out with a beer or two.

great pictures, made even more difficult with all that plate glass ![]() Love the two Kopis ....surprised that there was no Khopesh amongst the Egyptian artefacts (both the Kopis and Khopesh are two of my favourite ancient weapons.) Regards David |

Thank you Lew, wonderful pictures!!! Let me say that it's a shame that the Monteleone chariot, a unique masterpiece of the Etruscan art, is not in its original land.... anyway... there is also an african and indonesian section in the MET? thanks again
