Bronze aceh shield with islamic inscriptions

asomotif Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 2,228	Islam inscriptions. Mmmm... Normally I would not be impressed by writing on Aceh items. I only see them on new made rencongs. But this shield is not new made at all. Maybe Alam Shah can assist ? Ps. note that the text is not engraved or anything, it is actually casted with the shield.
