Hello Erlikhan,
I believe the miniature waxed cylinder may be for waxing thread to facilitate easier passage through leather. I showed these pieces to my Wife who is a garment maker and she concurs that the small pillar like object (which you refer to as a mortar or pestle) is in fact a seam tamper which was used in conjunction with the small hammer to flatten a seam after it has been glued and sewn. The awl of course is to pierce the leather for the sewing needle. ![]() |
