Maybe all are right. Maybe a piece which is set together in ancient times. Grip and blade do not need to be from same origin. As today, maybe an owner asked a bladesmith to fit a grip and a different blade. The blade seems to be made of a raffinated steel and not layers like pamor. Maybe wootz.
