Keep in mind the Persian shamshir was the saber par excellence throughout the Muslim world, so were often held as a status oriented weapon. In most cases only soundly documented provenance would substantiate being from the regions you note, or inscriptions on the blade.

Hopefully readers here might offer more insights or even better, examples.
