Hi drac,

What an interesting looking sword with a full length tang peined over the end of the brass hilt. The shape of the pommel resembles the lotus bud style seen on dha/daab, but I don't believe this hilt is SE Asian. The vines and leaves design on the cast brass hilt does not look SE Asian to me. European seems as good a guess as any. I'm interested to hear what our yat experts have to say.

Funny, I thought the same same thing about the handle resembling that of a dha. If not Eastern European, do you think that it could be Persian?
