Well, this Fedex policy also applies to krisses exported from Indonesia for some time (since the advent of Covid 19) so it is not too surprising.
Czerny's promised to you to transfer the shipment to UPS and hopefully it will work but you will have to be patient, and in the worst case you can ask them to be reimbursed. Good luck!
