He is a very lucky fellow to have more than one like this to sell. I have only dipped a toe in these waters; the one I have although a lot more simple does have some patina!!!! There is something new about these in my opinion.

Looks like a Kalinga datu (chieftain) ceremonial head axe. The bands seem to be made of hammered and pierced designed brass (pictures are aweful
). A variant that I have not seen before. Very nice.
