Hi Cerjak.
Nice looking Teppo. Yes, too bad about the broken serpentine. As Estcrh mentions, if there are any marks it is usually on the botton of the barrel/plug. And in my case, there was an additional mark on the inside of the stock and a small piece of linen with maybe an inspector's mark. There are probably similar marks/dates on the bottom of your barrel. Yes I believe that precious informations are certainly in the hidden side of the barrel but to remove the barrel without making damages around the pin holes it will be difficult :There is some materials who obstruct the pin holes so it why I'm still not decided to do it. Best CERJAK |
