Hi Hérésie,
Not an expert perse, but are you sure this is indeed brass and not plated iron? Please do indeed post more pictures of this piece. As far as i kknow there is no similar piece of European make. In the collection of our late friend Michael Trömner there are a few snapping match/tinderlocks and he provided alot of additional information as well.
