WOW, the price ofcourse. At first when I saw it I thought, wow another stolen item from Kabul museum.
The blade is of the Safavid royal work shop with the royal lion seal, has nothing to do with Assadullah, his name could be on the other side but still. It is a nice piece non the less. If I remember correctly, the only Prince Ahmad Shah I can think of was the son of Zaher Shah, which would have been very young to not being born yet in 1932. |
