I really like the pamor on this blade. And i have always been partial to the kebo dhapurs for some reason.
No sheath with this one?

You're a brave man Marco!

I have not swum in the sea in South Bali since the early 1980's, and even before that I did not swim in the sea during the wet season.

I suggest you might like to research the pollution figures on South Bali sea water, if you are swimming in South Bali. Of course, other locations in Bali and other locations across Indonesia are quite safe for swimming, but very few are safe during the wet.

This photo was taken about three weeks ago, the location is Kuta beach.

Yep.

Nothing quite as exhilarating as driving your board or your body into 300kg log that you're sharing the same wave with.

The logs and garbage that you see on the beach were deposited there by waves.

Even if one is happy to surf alongside logs, ragged tins, and used condoms the human excreta and other pollution in the sea off the coast of South Bali is not something that any person who cares about his health would care to risk.

I have swum in the surf since the age of four, and I am simply not brave enough, nor stupid enough to swim in the surf at Kuta. I have not been for the last +25 years.
