Jose: This twist-core on one side and a linnear pattern on the other is the
first time that i have seen this in a kris too. I do have an old barong that has
a random pattern on one side and a linnear pattern on the other side. But on
a barong , because of the thick spine, you can clearly see that two plates
have been welded together. This construction not apparent on kris because
unlike barong both sides are sharpened...........Dave.
