RDGAC Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: York, UK Posts: 167	Most interesting David; our grip is wrapped in the same black, leather-ish material as the scabbard, which doesn't have any obvious means of removal. I shall work on getting that off, in a non-destructive manner, so as to have a good look at both. Regards, Meredydd Jones
