Made in Syria. Completely new but still my sincere respect to the masters who manufactured this beautiful piece (or pieces as i see several of them in Istanbul recently). 'Almost' perfect except its very thick and heavy but not so sharp edged blade which would have better use in breaking bones than slashing .
