Default A rehilted Gunong for comments

Hello friends,
I picked up this rehilted gunong on Ebay. Probably the original hilt had broken and someone stuck whatever they could find on it. It was ghastly but had a lot of potential. The blade is laminated, the fittings silver, and the scabbard is well made. The guard is made from a large Philippine coin. I got a piece of Amboyna burl and shaped it to an old style hilt. It's not perfect, but close to it's original glory. It was a fun afternoon project. Thanks for looking.
