mandau / borneo blade / any suggestions ?

I recently bought this in a shop with militairy antiques.
No provenance, no info.

Both me and the seller think it is borneo, but without an original handle or scabbard it makes me wonder what it looked like before.

Anyone who has a similar blade or picture of such a blade ?

Length of the blade is 47 cms without the handle.
The protruding piece at the base is 3 cms
