I always thought of it more like 'edged weapon forensics' My son liked to call me an Indiana Jones of swords, kinda liked that one!
Never liked hoplology, sounded too skippy.
'old blade nuts' , thats OK, I think I'm the grand daddy around here, or at least one of 'em.
