Default Ethnographic?? 28th Maori Battalion?

The first thing for myself this year. Not really my sort of thing, is it really an "ethnographic" piece? Is it a standard ww2 MI night stick? A Kiwi veteran might know. Could it be ww1? I think the most interesting feature is the owners strong proclamation of thier christian faith with the chalice and fish symbols. A sip from this chalice will render you senseless.
