Default Mongolian knife..?? old??

hi i came accross this on ebay ,
and the first thing i though was where is it actualy form ? and how old is it?
the blade looks like on an old viking or saxon knife... but i understand that in central asia this form was common... 1000 years or so back...
anyway its got me stumped,
id say i relay dont have a clkue with it.
mongolian??
i dont think from the last 600 years if it is..
it looks to me form something form tibet or such an area , but ive not seen such a knife before..
whats your opionons on this one?
