Well, Punal, that wasn't very considerate of you - just think about how much skill and compassion that distinguished veteran put into mounting those blades on the plague...

Are my eyes betraying me or is that a hexagonal brass ferrule? If so, this seems to be a replacement hilt done in Luzon (there would have been a brass end plate fastened by a pin where you can see that hole in the pommel).

BTW, the twisted core Maranao kris is just gorgeous. I assume that's also swaasa inlay along the blade?
