Default Antique dhal/hide shield care tips.

Hello all,

I’m sure this is a topic that’s been covered previously but what would be your go to tips for the preservation of antique dhals? Moreso the buffalo hide with nice lacquer kind but also anything that you’ve found to be helpful when caring for Rajasthani painted dhals too! Mainly to prolong their sheen and longevity against cracking and warping overtime. Given standard conditions of storage are on a wall out of direct sunlight or resting on their edge propped up against a wall. Cheers everyone. Pictures for interest.
