Smile Rapier pendant, Western Europe (Italy? or maybe Poland), 1570-90

Hi all. I would like to show you a very rare antique pendant for a 16th rapier.
Maybe you have information about the provenance of this rapier pendant?
At first it was thought that it was a Polish rapier pendant, but one expert from the auction said that I think it is an Italian rapier pendant that may have been in the collection of the famous collector Spitzer.
