Hello,

the ''bubbles'' are the holes of the blood capillaries of the horn base
( for grow it's better !!) cf other picture of a deer horn slice made in earring
( + no resin , I already heated a needle and it's ok !)

Where I found resin-glue, it's around the devil head.
maybe it was later added ?

For the blade shape at the basis,
I found this sword cane sold as a 19th Irish sword cane,
the blade is made in the same mode.
