That’s interesting. Possibly a Flemish cousin to the Haudegen above? Yours has only one downward turned quillon and what appears in the photo to be a thumbring? Also, your sword looks like a lighter version, early 17thC perhaps? Would it be possible to see a photo of the whole sword, or the rest of the blade, and know the vital measurements?
