Default x-rays pictures made on medieval sword.

Last month I had the opportunity to make some x-rays of few swords ,unfortunately the result was not so good ,it was a trial and it will need some adjustments before to have a perfect exposure . The place from where I did it is a test centre specialised in non-destructive test for industrial application (aeronautics & nuclear industry)
We have try with 3 swords but we could get only 1 or two acceptable results after 18 trials.
Without the possibility of immediate development it was a blind test and it’s why we did ‘nt reached the expected result.
A new trial is planned as soon the development unit will be available and of course I will post the result and I will share the contact information with the member interested .
In this X-RAY we can learn about the construction of the cross bar on a mediaeval x type.
Unfortunately I don’t have a special scanner to scan the X-RAY film so the quality is bad.
