Default Another odd knife

I have had this knife for more than 20 years. I bought it in Manila and was told it was a recently made narra nanawi, a "rare Moro knife." I did not believe that attribution then and I still don't. I think it is most likely from Moro craftsmen in or around Davao City (Mindanao) or perhaps from North Borneo, but in the intervening years I have not seen another one like it.

The knife is well made. The wood has been polished very smooth on the sheath and hilt, and the blade is still very sharp. The pronounced curved blade is unusual.

Anybody know what this is and where it is from?

Ian.
