Renaissance dagger?
I bought this dagger offered as beeing from the time of the Renaissance. I am not quite sure of this and am waiting for your comments.
The sheeth is leather which was totally dryed, stiff and hard. I treated it with "Vaseline" and so it got more voluminous and softer. The wooden grip was certainly wrapped with leather whis is gone, but the symmetrically arranged nails are still there. Total length is 330mm, length of blade is 190mm Regards corrado26 |
