Greek? Knife ID help needed
One more from my storage of Katrina flooded things was retrieved today and conserved. The grip is bone I payed with red and blue plugs of an unknown material. It's pretty well made and about 9 1/2" long overall, with a 4 1/4" blade.
My gut tells me it's Eastern Mediterranean Greek or Turkish, but I'm not locked into this attribution. I would guess it's age is second quarter, 20th century, by the plugs that are either some sort of pigment or plastic. (I'm not going to do a hot needle test here!) Any ideas?
