Default 19th Century Halberd from Spanish Colonial Guard in Philippines

I thought I would post two halberd heads for comment, which I just acquired. They were captured in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War, and were presumably used by a special guards unit that guarded the Spanish colonial governor in the 19th century. Examples of these halberds are found in the President Rutherford Hayes Center and reputedly in the Smithsonian. They are unmarked steel, fairly large - 27" x 17".

Since I am new to collecting this type of arms, any comments or new information welcome. I would be interested in seeing similar examples in other collections, etc.
