Thank you guys

If truth be known one of my motivating factors for acquiring this piece was to hopefully increase our knowledge of these oft overlooked daggers.
I've had a few over the years and of course seen many more as they are not exactly 'rare' as a type!

I've not personally had one with a dated blade before. Also, most that I see seem to have blade decoration that is more decorative than descriptive.
This one seems to have very specific symbols.
So it gives an interesting 'snapshot' of the 20thc evolution of the form.

Perhaps others will join into this thread with similar examples?
