Translation Help For a Catrouche(Arabic) on a Qama/Kindjal

CharlesS Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Greenville, NC Posts: 1,854	Translation Help For a Cartouche(Arabic) on a Qama/Kindjal Recently acquired this qama and I'd like to know more about the cartouche and its contents. I am most curious if the text is strictly Arabic, making the piece most likely Ottoman, or if it is Arabic text in the Farsi language, making it more likely of Persian origin.
