Default Samoan Nifo Oti with Repurposed Metal Blade

Just picked this up at the local antique show. I've seen the Samoan Nifo Oti in wood and in metal, but I had never seen one with a repurposed Square Ruler. The woman that I bought it from told me that she had the piece for 40 years, and had purchased it from an old man that had picked it up in the Pacific (she thought Tahiti, but didn't remember). I figured that someone out there might find it as interesting as I did.
