Default Naga House pieces

These come from the Naga of India. not exactly ethnographic weapons, but might be of interest to people who study the Naga weapons.

The pillar is from a wealthy man's home. It features and celebrates a massive a feast he gave with the sacrifice of seven buffalo. It also has three human trophy heads (wood) and some kind of dog-like animal head (also wood) at the top. It is 10' 8" tall and 34" wide.

The other piece is a sort of were leopard from a Naga Community house. I also took a picture with direct flash to let you see details. It is 71" high.

Welcome your comments.
