Default Jambiya thouma translation wanted

My latest jambiya thouma with a text and figure of a snake engraved on the blade and a mark on the back of the scabbard. E2n of my takouba has a similar snake engraved on it. Strange that a figure appears from two cultures so far apart. I can find no seam on the cut but folds easily and remains crooked. A translation would be most welcome. The decoration on the scabbard is well made but does not appear to me to be silver or low grade perhaps. A green oxidation visible on the metal. Handle amber colored plastic handle. Use marks on handle and scabbard.
regards
Marc
