eftihis Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Chania Crete Greece Posts: 511	Ottoman leather belt like selahlik Hi, this is an old ottoman/balkan multi layer belt that looks like selahlik. However, it does not have a holle that would permit to handle a long weapon like yataghan. The only holle that it has has been made crudly latter for use. So what was the purpose of this belt? Is it for military latter use or a belt for some sort of artisan? Does anyone know? Attached Images
