Jacket / basket for I.D - Ethnographic Arms & Armour

Royston Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Poole England Posts: 443	Jacket / basket for I.D Just bought this. Cannot find the origin in my books. First thoughts were Naga or Nias but no luck with them. Any ideas ? Good aged patina on the rattan. The base appears to be split bamboo. The "hair" is vegetable not animal. Large enough to wear on the chest - but why the "basket" ? As usual all suggestions welcome. Regards Roy Attached Images
