Up for viewing is a plaque that we got many years ago. It has two moro
shields and various moro weapons, all in solid silver. The plaque is 16 by 19
inches and the swords average 6 to 7 inches in length. The spears are 131/2
inches long and the shields are 7 and 41/2 inches respectively.
The round shield engraving says "PRESENTED TO MR. DAVID GOODALE BY"
The lower shield says "THE ZAMBOANGA STAFF OF ATKINS, KROLL & CO.
Engraved on the bottom shield are thirteen names of the employees as
follows: G.H DaCosta.
N.H Carvalho.
P.Y.Lee.
E.Lim.
M. Alba.
A. Jimenez.
G.P. Abes.
E. Lopez
M. Ledesma.
A. Cobato.
L. Fernandez.
H. Cabaso.
R. Garpia.
Zamboanga P.J
June 2nd 1918

It might be interesting to think that plaques like this could be the
forerunner of all the tourist ones that we see......Dave.
