Nice hilt and - IMO - nice pamor. Blade should be etched

Nice formal Madura dress. Love the knot work in the hilt. Nice old blade.
I would suggest though that you choose some other thread name when you post. You now have 3 threads titled "One More Keris".

Nice hilt. You can send this one to the Netherlands any time.

Th eposition of the hilt however seems a little bit out the centre compared with the sacbbard.
How is the fit of the blade into the scabbard ?

Best regards,
Willem

Hi again,

Madura sheat is called daunan and it's a shame that the sheat is missing a broken piece, you still have it? And the blade seems indeed very nice and need a warangan. The hilt is very nice. Willem (asomotif) is correct, the position isn't fine when the blade with hilt is inside the sheat, most probably it is a composition piece.

I love this hilt..

I think that if u can get a stain on this blade you would be happily suprised
by the nice pamor.

May i ask if u use a sort of lacker or polish on the Wranka ?

It shine,s so nice , the same with the bugis wranka .
