Nice formal Madura dress. Love the knot work in the hilt. Nice old blade.

Th eposition of the hilt however seems a little bit out the centre compared with the sacbbard. How is the fit of the blade into the scabbard ? Best regards, Willem |

Madura sheat is called daunan and it's a shame that the sheat is missing a broken piece, you still have it? And the blade seems indeed very nice and need a warangan. The hilt is very nice. Willem (asomotif) is correct, the position isn't fine when the blade with hilt is inside the sheat, most probably it is a composition piece. |

I love this hilt..
I think that if u can get a stain on this blade you would be happily suprised by the nice pamor. May i ask if u use a sort of lacker or polish on the Wranka ? It shine,s so nice , the same with the bugis wranka . Gr, |
