Default Australian wildfires

The news in the UK is full of terrible images of the destruction wrought by these huge wildfires.
The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper has described them as: "A Tragedy Beyond Belief".
There really are no words to describe how terrible this disaster is, and any words of sympathy will seem barely adequate to the scale of the suffering and destruction.

The UK, and I'm sure the world is watching and our thoughts, hopes and sincere best wishes are with the Australian people at this terrible time.

Hi Gene .....yes terrible ....and even worse it is reported to be the work of arsonists. Unusually the speed of the fire was very fast....reports have said that, at times, cars were unable to outrun it.

I hope our Australian formites have not been directly affected by this and my sympathy to all those whom have suffered loss.

Regards David
