				 | swordsmiths in ocala

I live in ocala florida. I'm looking to start making swords but don't know where to begin. Do you know of any swordsmiths or guilds in ocala? Or even just a good web site?

Keep in mind that what type of swords has a bearing as well......it might not be entirely a waste of money to conside apprenticing with a good ethnographic smith as well. I wouldn't be completely surprised if you couldn't get funding for such through some governmental art or anthropological agencies. Just a thought for younger members. Mike |

				 | Al Pendray

CADENCE If I were you I would hop over and talk to Al Pendray the "Wizard Of Wootz". He is in my opinion the best blacksmith in Florida if not the USA. And where in the Florida is Mr. Pendray? only 27 mules from you! in Williston Florida, on Highway 121 South West of Williston about 3 miles from town. Mr Pendray is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. Gene |
