Rick,
Thanks for sharing the links to this interesting film! I really enjoyed the Barong and spear plays. But as a diver I feel sorry for the poor, harmless, reef shark... Michael |

As a diver also I have respect for the grey or black tip reef sharks. I have heard of divers being attacked by them. Usually divers in areas where the sharks were unfamiliar with people and the people strayed into their territory and ignored the reef shark's distinctive posture displayed when they feel threatened. Now if it was a sand shark, or a nurse shark, I would feel sorry for the shark. |

Guys we are talking about Moro weapons and culture lets not get invovled with the possible mistreatment of a shark that lived 60 or more years ago stick with the subject please

My favorite was the first one. I always wondered what the movement looked like - only seen photos of these scenes. Very nice - thank you Rick.

I sat in anticipation eyes glued to the screen waiting for Tarzan to come swinging on a vine diving in the water saving the poor fellow with his foot caught in the giant clam.
Bill: Now if it was a sand shark, or a nurse shark, I would feel sorry for the shark. Sand sharks can get pretty nasty. I stepped on a few on them. |

This film takes you probably 75-80 years or so back in time; no Hollywood types constructed the houses or made the clothing, vessels or weapons . Tough crowd here ..... ![]() ![]() ![]() |
