Default Shi-Hutu Sword

Hi guys, this is arrived today, a nice Shi-Hutu sword. The blade is very thick: 1 cm. The handle was broken off and then it was fixed with some kind of resin and a strip of woven.

P.S. Tim, this is a sword!!

Flavio

Sweet sword. It's very much like the one I have in my collection.

Thumbs up

Flavio

The wrapping on the hilt seems to be very old canvas and looks like an old tribal repair I also see some old nalis in the hilt. It's still a nice example of a rare sword. Congrats.

Hi Lew,

Here is my Shi-sword. It has a very strong (and sharp) blade. The sheath is covered with very fine copper wire. The strap is made of leather. Length : 43,5 cm.
