			I won't post on the forum yet, hopefully not mistakenly, here are my two recent harvests of Chinese maces. |

			These look very well made.  Are they used as a defence against swords rather than as a club? As in the Japanese sword breakers or Jittes. |

			The spear is an ancient Chinese weapon, with a long history, belonging to heavy weapons, which can deal with swords and armor.

			Yup, look like sword breakers - I seem to recall a recent Chinese historic film that had one of the protagonists who carried and used one. A certain firm named after low temperature steel has a few you tube videos available on them. They can snap or bend an opponents sword. I also don't think getting hit with one would be a good idea.

			I have collected hundreds of Chinese weapons, and some of the photos you posted are modern Chinese weapons. The first weapon in the pictures is from the Vietnam region, and I mainly collect weapons from before the Republic of China.
