Default BICOL SLICER (LAGWIS)

Hello,

Sharing this near-year blade from Bulan, Sorsogon (tip of Bicol peninsula). The local seller(Bulan, Sorsogon) calls this blade ' SLICER'- but it resembles the LAGWIS of Masbate. OAL: 28.25 inches/ Blade: 21.25 inches. Note: the pommel 'deity' design typical to Bicol blades.

I have compared this blade with two of our Masbate lagwis blades for our appreciation(see pics).

Happy Holidays!

Regards

Yves

Yves, which one are you saying is the typical Bicol "deity" hilt?
